Our Company

OPEN was founded in 2017 by Jacquis Tolsma to offer property owners easy-to-use smart access control to their properties by maximising technology.  Our founding principle remains: helping people to forget their keys.

OPEN’s range of innovative products are designed with the end-user in mind: striving to enable seamless access management to properties, whilst saving you one of the most important things that money can’t buy – your time.

Using Internet of Things (IoT) Technology, OPEN works with any device to make access easy and convenient. And what is more, now you can afford to forget your keys and remotes!

OPEN is ideal for:

  • property owners who regularly host short-term Airbnb guests, and would like to save time and effort
  • homeowners who want to give access to their domestic workers, service providers (e.g. building contractors), family and friends, without having to physically be at home or providing a physical key
  • business owners who’d like a simple, key and card-free access control system for their employees
  • owners of hospitality establishments, such as B&Bs and Guest Houses who’d like to give guests remote and key free access to their rooms
  • dispersed family members who share access to a remote holiday home
  • landlords who prefer to not give keys to tenants, or would like to simplify ‘key handover’ from one tenant to another.

Switch to OPEN today, for access management that is controlled, convenient and compatible.
